Description You can use PCalc to calculate the velocity of your racing pigeons. This is ideal for checking your club result or just for training purposes. If you calculate your result by hand then PCalc makes a good double-check. PCalc has two user modes of operation: Simple mode and Advanced mode. In the simple mode you need only enter the liberation time, bird-in time, and your mileage/yardage. The simple velocity calculation of Distance over time is performed and the result is shown. PCalc looks a very complex piece of software because it takes into account the master clock and your clock which then allows you to calculate the net gain/loss compensation. Also the hours of darkness for 1 or more nights is supported. In fact everything you would need to produce an accurate club result after a race. How to use PCalc

With simple and advanced mode you are guided through the data entry with the aid of status bar messages and also highlighted field entry. If the calculation can not be performed for lack of information then no result is shown and any erroneous information is highlighted such. This is the same technique used in the PClub software which has been honed over a couple of seasons. This is perfect training for going on to use PClub hence any member can practice at home and they will easily be able to make the transition over to PClub. It's very useful to have more than one person trained up for producing the results. By all means use PCalc (on say a laptop) to calculate club results.

PCalc is shareware and you can freely use/copy/distribute the installation files, but you can NOT lease, sell or commercialise PCalc. You can use it for personal or club use but please do not to distribute your license file to multiple users or computers.

It's fully functional and does not time out, but their are nag screens. I apologise for the nag screens but I would like to further develop this product and keep it supported. To remove the nag screens you can pay a nominal fee (30GBP) to get a license file which suppresses the nag screens. Pcalc can print an order form which also tells you all the details.

Please freely evaluate the product for as long as you like. Buying a license just removes the annoying nag screens. We would prefer you to be 100% happy with how the software works before paying for something you don't need or you think does not do the job you want. We would appreciate any comments as this will help us improve the product.
