The Gates
The gates were spray painted with a zinc oxide and will be finished with a gloss black paint.
Each of the 4 posts will have 6 sided cut-glass lantern mounted on the top. A further 30-50mm
of tarmac will be applied to the whole of the front entrance leaving a constant 200mm under the gates.
You can see from the photographs the road falls over the 35m by approximatly 500mm. Also
the entrance rises toward the house to allow rainwater to fall away from the house.
A small wicket gate was made to allow foot access.
